That I would be able to travel by myself across the world to explore and experience a new culture, lifestyle, and language and journey through Japan! In this case, it was just Tokyo, but I've never been on a plane by myself, let alone venture to an entirely different world. I didn't even know where Japan was located on the globe... lol I just knew it was in Asia and thought it was located directly south of Korea... I would have never even considered this, but I was away from Harue for too long and it was about time we spend some time together <3 , and preferably make it a vacation as well!
Harue and I were discussing about it, and we just decided to purchase the ticket! I was finally about to schedule work off not knowing too much about the plane ticket fares or which plane ticket to purchase, but either way, our hearts were set on spending Harue's birthday in Tokyo. I told my mom a week and a half after I bought it, and it was surprisingly very simple! No questions asked, except she warned me about long distance relationships... lol.
Well, I was very excited! Not knowing what to expect... I wondered if it'll be like what Anime portrays. Will there be Yakuza around? Will there be crazy cosplay outfits, ridiculous vending machines, and rotating car garages??? What will our Hotel look like? Will our bed be comfy? Will Harue be excited to see me?
It was everything I had expected, and much much more :) It was an amazing adventure and a wonderful vacation I got to spend with my beautiful girlfriend, Harue <3
